![]() Going to rent a row boat with my little brother and hit Mercers Lake. I know absolutely nothing about the place. Not even what's there to catch. Any advice would be appreciated (and if you know where in the area to get bait, that would be appreciated as well).
Thanks! ![]() |

![]() Used to fish there long time ago. The lake has largemouth/crappies/Musky most of the usual. Used to fish left side of the lake mostly two big coves Caught some decent fish there but like i said ain't been there in quite some time. Don't know where your coming from but bait from Harry's or Sportsman Center might be your best bet......Let me know how you make out .......

![]() I've had the best luck on the side with the rowing team building (across from the regular marina/launch).
Try working the shoreline from there towards the golf course. Also the carve out for the golf course & the far far shoreline near the dam. We usually get bass, crappies & perch. There are muskies in there too. Shoreline is ok but boat/yak is better. Fisherman Freds has updates for the area on their site & FB. |

![]() Under the power lines is the deepest water. If you have a boat in this heat that might be the best place to try during the heat of the day.
