Upper Musky Trout Tease

Fished a pool with seventy five trout in it. At Least. Maui Jims polarized glasses don't lie. Only five bites. Two caught. Nothing more frustrating than seeing your bait one inch from a trouts mouth and he just looks at it. I did that a hundred times today. Going to wait until they settle in before I go after them again.

Same thing happened to me today on the Musky.....probably the same area. I could actually get the fish to bite on reaction strikes. I used Rapals and trout magnets, jerked across the top. Still frustrating and time consuming. We only ended up with a couple fish for a lot of effort. They only wanted lures that were swimming erratically.
