Default Lower musky/South Branch hit and miss

My son, Doug, and I decided to fish the lower Musky half a day and then the South branch the other half. The Musky was running gin clear but somewhat high. The South Branch on the other hand was very high and discolored. And they are only five miles apart. We caught a total of 14 trout on butterworms and baby nightcrawlers. Most of the fish were caught in the Musky. It was a good father and son day together. Hope to do it again soon.
