Default Help Identifying Fish

Hey guys,

Caught this today on a mealworm but I dont know what it is... It seems to be some type of sucker or chub but I dont know what... It was very fragile fish because after about 15sec out of water it was at the surface belly up for a few min (then I poked it with my rod tip and it saw away strong).

What do we think???

Thanks

Looks lime common river chub, could be a species of shiner as well !
Haven't caught one in years but if I recall the chubs exibited a mouth shaped like a sucker to.some extent, that blue back makes it appear to be part of a herring family , can't recall if the chubs coloration was the same!

I think its a shiner of some sort.........there are several species of chubs that I am familiar with and it does not look like any of those.

I believe that it is a small fall fish.
