Manasquan Res next week
Thinkin about heading down there next week and need advice on what would work best for bass, like what types of artificials. If live bait is best now where can I buy some in that area? Thanks.

Re: Manasquan Res next week
I usually do well this time of year with the usual Senko type baits, Big Lip thin bodied cranks, in and around the wood. And Pop-R's over structure. Trolled lipless cranks have scored either LMB,SMB,YP,White Bass, and Hybrid Bass for me 90% of the time I've tried. Watch for large schools of bait as the bass are usually trailing them. As for live bait Shiners score big around the wood and grass but you may go through alot before you get a Largemouth cause the Perch and crappie LOVE em. If you are bringin young kids make sure you get worms and fish em under bobbers and on small ball jig heads. The Pan Fishing is excellent by boat here.

Re: Manasquan Res next week
The Ranger station always has worms, and usually has Shiners.
