Arrow Raritan river 5/7/2011 PM report:

Went down to the river at dusk. Took the LONG walk from the falls down to the pipe. Did enough throws till I was satisfied. I could hear Patriots stadium just over the tree line. Walking back on the foot path with my headlamp on was very cool because there were these fuzzy spiders about the size of a quarter and their eyes lit up like little diamonds.
Took the LONG walk back to the falls. The lights from the water company were very bright. There were 3 guys fishing the wall, they were thrownig everything they had, looks like they were going to be there a while. I talked to them and they told me stories of walleye, pike and muskie. I did a few throws at the falls and called it a night.
Trying to straiten out this learning curve on Raritan river stripers.
