With all the rain coming down, is it even worth taking off work early for the 5PM show??

I'm thinking of heading out tomorrow at 5 AM, don't know if they managed to stock it today?

Well I went out yesterday. Fishing was pretty darned good, water wasn't muddy at all but running pretty fast. I got 2 smallies but must have missed 10 other fish. I don't know what was happening, using a butter worm with a size 8 hook, is that too small??

I got up at 5 AM only to realize it was way too dark to head out on the river.

Slumbered a bit and got out on the N. Branch for an hour at 5:45.

Water was high and very fast, a little stained but not too bad.

Went 1 for 3 using a gold roostertail and landed a very small brookie. Nice way to start the work-day.
