Kayak opinions
I've never been on a kayak before and I'm seriously considering buying an angler kayak mostly for ponds, lakes and maybe bigger water. As in resi's and maybe the bay for some saltwater fishing..
I just want to read comments and suggestions from people who kayak fish. Like what brands to look at, what size is best for general use in all bodies of water that I mentioned and what to look out for so I don't buy something that I am going to regret. I've been looking at : Ocean Kayak Prowler 13 Angler Mad River Synergy 12 Perception Search 13 Wilderness Ride 135 I would really appreciate some suggestions and opinions. |

I forgot to mention. I'm 6ft and weigh 190lbs. I know it the size of person can make a difference. Which I don't think it will for me

Re: Kayak opinions
I actually just recently bought a used Drifter. Came with seat, paddle, knee straps and wheels. It's not set up for fishing but the price was right and I couldn't pass it up. I believe it will be a perfect starter kayak for me. Especially since the price was right. I need to get my hands on some flush mount rod holders, paddle leash or clips, pfd vest and need the kit to cut out and mount a 6 inch round storage.
