Registration closes this Friday (1/30) for our 2026 Introductory Fisheries Science for Stakeholders (IFISSH) course offered through Rutgers Cooperative Extension.
Classes start next Tuesday (2/3) evening (6:30 - 9:00 pm) and meet weekly for ten weeks through April 7 via Zoom webinar. We cover many topics such as fisheries biology, oceanography, catch estimation, stock assessment, and fisheries management for finfish and shellfish here in NJ. The course is open to any who is interested. Please visit this link to register and submit program fee payment ($40/person) by January 30, 2026. Hopefully we'll see many of you there!
