Fishing 🎣 during a snow squall
Went fishing 🎣 in 46.2 degrees Carnegie Lake this afternoon on a cold 🥶, partly sunny day after more than an inch of rain 🌧️ and before a cold front with snow squalls and 40 mph winds. One of the regulars, John, was leaving when I arrived. He only caught one white perch. Five fishermen were on the Aqueduct and dam. Another regular fisherman, Chris, fished on both sides of my spot and caught and released a lot of black crappies by ultralight jigging near the surface. I caught and released 2 black crappies and 4 white perch with live killies, red worms 🪱 and a 1/32 oz tube jig. I left early when a snow squall arrived. Saw Canada geese, mallards, mergansers, great blue heron, gulls, vultures, an adult bald eagle 🦅 and a small hawk. Took photos.
