Went fishing 🎣 in the 58.1 degree Millstone River on the north shore in Plainsboro, NJ, this evening on a warm, sunny ☀️, calm day. There is still a lot of duckweed on the water. I threw out Walmart canned whole kernel corn 🌽 for chum, then caught nothing while ultralight jigging. I caught, then released a channel catfish with corn 🌽 bait at night. On my last cast of the day at 6 PM, I landed a 21” 5 lb 9 oz common carp. I saw a nearby muskrat in the river at dusk. Took photos.
