Opening Day Skunking…..
Figure I’d post up a personal report before the sponsors get rolling April 1st and clog up the board
 Back of the Raritan. Dead sticked 2 rods, 1 with clam another with bloods and flundy hooks. Threw lures on a 3 rd while the baits soaked. All on the incoming after 9am. Zip. Water def cold but I don’t carry a thermo so couldn’t tell ya temp. Wind started honking by 11. Flounder bait picked clean constantly but never came tight in anything. Took a ride further west before calling it quits and the poachers are setting up shop already for the season. No bait to be seen. Felt good to just cast after this cold ass winter. Good luck this season boys.

First fishing report of the year! Nice! I bet it felt great to get out there and you also got the skunk out of the way for the year!
