jiggin perch with the bunker dunker

I went out fishing with the bunker dunker today after a tough day yesterday on the cong (lake hopatcong). We had to redeem ourselves and put some fish on the ice and boy did we. WE got Largemouth bass, Perch,Crappies,Sunnies and one Slime dart(chain pickerel). Some of the fish we got on tip ups and the rest on jig rods. A small rippin rap and a small rattle trap as well as a jig tipped with a waxworm did the trick with the jig rods. We fished in 12 fow and the fish played nice all morning, we ran out of shinners for the tip ups by 10am and called it the day around 11:30 am. We ended the day with 16 perch for the table and released all other fish to fight another day. It was nice to spend some time on the ice with bunker dunker this weekend

pleasure was mine badger.thanks for the tip on the rattle baits as it was fish after fish for hours.always a great day when you can lay the smack down on them with friends.thanks again for a great trip.as far as saturdays trip,i would have rather had a root canal!!!.

We did not get skunked, but it was all we could do to get 2 perch and 1 sunnie on the jigs. all morning and no flags and we covered some water.
