Caught one, lost one then one broke my line

Saw a lot of squirrels 🐿️ this morning when I took my one hour walk. They are preparing for winter. News on the radio said that there is a bumper crop of acorns this fall. The wild animals are very happy. I voted for the President of the United States 🇺🇸 today. Went to the Millstone River to do some carping but too many weeds were in the water. Went carping in 74 degrees Carnegie Lake this evening on a hot 🥵, humid, cloudy day with little wind. As soon as I arrived at my spot, a mosquito 🦟 landed on my hand, then I killed it. I used a Skeeter Hawk repellent mosquito 🦟 carabiner for the first time but I killed 9 mosquitoes 🦟. It didn’t work. I threw out corn 🌽 for chum, then caught a bluegill, golden shiner and common carp with canned whole kernel corn 🌽 bait. I gave the roach to my friend the resident great blue heron. Lost a carp that threw the hook, then on my last cast of the day, a big carp broke my line and stole my hook. Saw 5 other fishermen catch a few small fish 🐟. Took a few pics.
