![]() Went fishing 🎣 in Manasquan Inlet this evening on a warm, sunny day with a light east wind and incoming tide. Caught, tagged and released 4 fluke with a plain hook Ava A-17. Lost it to a bottom snag on my last cast of the day. Missed a snapper bluefish. Saw minnows jumping. A fisherman caught a Spanish mackerel with an epoxy jig in the ocean. A red fox 🦊 was in the Municipal Parking Lot. Too many people and boats were at the inlet.

![]() Nice report. You cannot go wrong using a small Ava! It's one of my go-to's for many saltwater species! It's old school but effective! Tight Lines!

![]() The river is loaded with bait! Bay anchovies, spearing, peanuts, spots. I'm not surprised you caught them.
