Sorry but never been there. Close to Charleston and fished there in the backwater for redfish on a charter cork and live shrimp did the trick. Seems like everything eats shrimp down that way so if your driving I’d bring something to hold live shrimp with a bubbler.

If you can get to Charleston, JR Waits, Isle of Palms, just outside of Charleston. But Savannah is pretty cool, lots to see, and very good food. You fish enough !

Skidaway and Tybee Island. Backwaters for redfish, specks, croaker, spot, whiting(southern kingfish) Shrimp & a float rig. Any bait shop will help you out.

Cast net for shrimp for eats. Crabbing very good. pretty easy to find rental boats for the backwaters.

Offshore is a bit of a ride.

I’ve fished there a few times in the backwater. Fishing is typically very good for speckled trout and redfish and should be near its peak when you’re there. I’d recommend going with a guide and you really don’t need more than a half day to get all the fish you want. I booked through Miss Judy charters and both captains we went with had us on them
