OCEAN FLUKE REPORT 8/27/2023.
Hey Gang, What an awesome day on the fluke grounds. After a few week Hiatus due to a back injury it was great to be back in the saddle with the Sunday regulars. We had a little breeze in the AM but the fluke were hungry right out of the gate on the first drift. When the current slacked off we took a short run to a different area and went to work. The boys ended up with a savage bite and put a beating on the fluke while I worked throttles. There were many limits onboard including Tony, Tommy S, Pete, Bobby, Big Joe, Mike and Paddy on fish up to 5.5lbs. If it wasn't for the annoying sea bass we could have doubled our catch for sure. Day end total was 62 keepers! Thanks. Capt Jack.
