🐟PICKED AWAY TODAY ON Miss Belmar

🎣Both the Royal Miss Belmar and the Miss Belmar Princess picked away today. Good conditions in the morning but got a little choppy as the day went on. Royal had lots of short FLUKE come over with only about a dozen KEEPERS and also some nice KEEPER SEA BASS. Princess had a better day today than the past two days and experienced anglers had a good amount of BLUES and SEA BASS and also some BONITA come over the rail, while less experienced anglers struggled. Every move on both boats produced fish though today. 🌊🌊TOMORROW IS CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER, WE WILL SEE YOU SATURDAY!🎣

For the bluefish trips, any particular recommendations on jigs/rigs to bring? Plan to be on the Princess this weekend. Haven’t fished for blues in awhile (like 20 years) as all inshore fishing as been fluke/tog/sea bass. Bluefishing now is somewhat diff than it was awhile back.

My rod/reels have 30# mono as I assume braid isn’t allowed on these trips.

Braid is allowed, you can bring a pile with Braid, and another with Mono if you want. Plain chrome 17 or 27s seem to have been the most productive. Any further questions/concerns can always call 732-245-0500. Thanks
