![]() Three nights in a row of good fishing. Went out with a good crowd to calm seas and a slight breeze. Anchored up and caught a few Seabass and Ling. About an hour into it the first Mack came over the rail. Not a lot of Macks before the yellow eyed Demons arrived sawing off non wire Ling hooks. We caught Bluefish in shots the rest of the night. Scott B. Put on a clinic on how to fly line Blues. We cut a flat of Butterfish for hook bait on the way out and it paid off. Bunker goes soft quickly where Butterfish holds up better. There were a lot of limits of Blues along with some Seabass and Ling. Macks were few and far between.
White tailed and naked diamond jigs worked ok. Butterfish on dropper rigs or flylined/one shot caught good. Still caught a lot on clams. A lot of Bluefish were full of chum that didn't look like ours. With 3 other big boats close by that could explain the fish coming in shots. They were also throwing up those little Anchovies again. Looking forward to Thursday's night trip. I hope the bite continues. |

![]() Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 7:30 to 12:30. They run limited load for more confort. I would make a reservation on line as they do sell out. They will take walkons if there is space available. Hope the bite holds up.
