PROWLER5 - THURS. JUNE 15 - OCEAN FLUKE REPORT

[Prowler 5]

We had a great bunch of Prowler regulars again today. Nice crowd for a beautiful summer day. We started off where we have been fishing. There were many shorts but not a lot of keepers and I just didn't feel like it was going to happen there today. So, we took off and went into search mode. We fished five or six different locations with life on all, but just not a lot of keepers today. A lot of nice big blue knuckleheads. Tomorrow, we have plan B planned. I told all the guys we are going east tomorrow. That long ride that we make. We have good fishing conditions there and usually great action with fluke and seabass. So hopefully tomorrow I'll have a hot report. Hats off to Joey, Sr. today for another fine job on deck. We had some really good fishermen on the boat today. I wish we could have found some more keepers. I was telling Ray in the pilot house on the way home - you know you have good fishing men on the boat when you don't have any rental rods out. It's going to be another beautiful day out on the ocean and I'm looking forward to getting back out there tomorrow.
