Caught 52 fish 🎣 in 2 hours

Went ultralight jigging in a 72 degree tributary of a tributary of the tidal Delaware River on the low tide this evening. Weather was sunny and cold during an east wind small craft advisory. Saw mulberries on the ground while walking to my spot. A double crested cormorant was standing on a downed tree in the lake. Found a large Eastern red bellied turtle. Took pics. A large group of foreigners were illegally fishing 🎣 within 100’ of the fish 🐟 ladder. A young boy and girl followed me downstream and kept fishing in the next pool downstream from where I was fishing. Crowd fishing is not fun. Caught and released a largemouth bass, bluegill and 50 red breasted sunfish with 1/32 oz Big Eye jigs on 2 lb test line in two hours. Found 11 turtles 🐢 this year. A few of the sunnies were spawned out females but most were still gravid.
