GOLDEN EAGLE - BLUEFISHING UPDATE

We went off in search of BLUEFISH today and found them splashing in the water and swimming around chasing baitfish. There were lots of them including the really big ones. We threw everything at them but they didn’t want to eat. We had some on but lost them. We finished the day fishing for BLUES on one of the reefs and found plenty of SEA BASS which we couldn’t keep. But, SEA BASS season opens May 17th and there are loads of fish out there so get your reservations in if you want to get in on the early action starting Wed., May 17.

Tuesday's weather will keep us at the dock but it looks beautiful for Wednesday and right through the weekend.
We will get back out to the BLUES first thing Wednesday morning with the boat leaving the dock at 7:30AM.

We had a couple special whale watching trips over the weekend and they were really exciting with multiple whales breaking the water, plenty of dolphins and other sea life. So, while you are out on the Golden Eagle, keep your eyes open for these magnificent creatures.
