Default Acadian Red Fish massacre

Just came back from Easstmans. The seas were much nicer than my last trip out, and the reports have been too good to be true, so I had to give it a shot.

It did NOT disappoint. Tons of Acadia Red fish, these are spiny little buggiers that taste delicous, and people drive up from Virginia, DC, and yes, NJ to catch them. When they are running hot, some guys put a sabiki jig and drop their lines 300 feet to catch them.

Tons of haddock, and some huge pollock showed up for good measure.

Never have I seen fishing this good around me. The pics I'm watching of the stripers you guys are getting...Some day I hope they get to be that good around here again. Seeing 35" stripers getting hauled in on your boats, makes me feel incredibly hopefull, and excited.
