Default Skillful Angler Recognition Awards

Just received my 2022 NJ Skillful Angler Recognition Awards. Got cloth patches for the first time. Won 8 awards including one for first place. Disappointed that my other two first place fish 🎣 were beaten. I now have 62 awards including 12 first place. Not bad for a 75 year old who only fishes from shore in public fishing areas.

Good for you and congratulations on your latest award. I see your reports and agree with you giving enough info to entice people to get out there too but not enough so as to compromise the waters you fish.
However, I find it a shame that one of our members must make remarks on or about your success in what you enjoy doing. So much for the old saying, "If You Can’t Say Anything Nice Don’t Say Anything at All." Sorry but that sort of action, sticks in my craw.

you basically need to take a picture of a fish on a tape/measurement (clear enough and make sure it's straight) and also any bonus pics like of you holding the fish, then email them the entry. You also need to fill out the application form, attach that in the email too. The fish needs to be on that minimum size chart they list otherwise it wont qualify.

For the application I believe if you have a pdf editor you can digitally enter in the information then export/save that file. Otherwise i bet you can just download, print, write with pen, then scan/take a picture of it and attach it that way?
Wish they had a better application format but the digital pdf editor works for me at least.
Even if you dont win you get the paper and signed document + the badge with "qualified" listed.
