Default Wildwood fluke boat?

Can anyone give any good recommendations for a party boat out of the wildwood area for fluke? Hate just randomly jumping on a boat with no idea if im just going for a boat ride or if real effort will be put in to find fish haha. Thanks in advance.

Hey Chrisper,
Was down there July 16 -23 and to be honest the whole area is touristy for fishing but I would take the short ride to Cape May as there are more options. Will send you a PM tomorrow.
Does it have to be a PB or can you do a 6pack?

Since capt paul sold his boat (porgy 4) there really isn't any real fluke boats left down there. He was running the starlight express a couple days a week but they since sold the boat which is now the capt cal. So I guess its officially over down there unless you want to go for a boat ride.

I agree with the others, since the porgy IV PB left there are no more 8 hr PB’s left in the area. Even in Cape May they are all or mostly 1/2 day tourist boats. I used to fish in the Cape May area a lot, generally on charter boats when they run open charter. IMO the best and most knowledgeable that I have found is Capt. Harv Yenkinson who runs the Vet Craft Sportfishing. Here’s his link: https://vetcraftsportfishing.com/ . If you’re interested in a charter maybe you’ll get lucky and he’ll have an opening while you there. Other charter boats that I know of are “Stalker Fishing Charters” & “Unreel Sportfishing” . good luck.

Fishing on the Cape May County reefs hasn’t been great because of the upwelling’s cold water. having said that, the Miss Avalon and Sea Star are both catching a mix of fluke (we call them flounder), triggerfish, and sea bass.
