Default Pots Seagirt reef

Are pots allowed on seagirt reef? On a friend's boat drifting past a pot when a commercial boat comes up and says move we are going to be pulling pots and you are in our way. Thanks

I have noticed the same thing on the Axel reef also. Seems that commercial gear is prohibited on NJ reefs outside
the 3 mile limit.
