GAMBLER --Striped Bass Report
Gambler striped bass fishing has been good overall. Saturday was a little tougher --although I saw good marks of big bass on my fish finders at times.
Friday were bigger stripers and blues on shads. Saturday, the fish were smaller and there were less bluefish. Swim shads have still been the lure of choice, although spoons will catch fish too. Lately, it's been a hike to the North but that could change any time. No trip Wednesday or Thanksgiving but we'll be back at it starting Friday. Long range for the weekend looks good. The Gambler has been fishing 1/2 capacity, so there is always plenty of room. It is suggested that you book on-line. However, if the boat is not booked, you may still be able to "walk-on" and pay aboard. We have tackle, hot food and coffee aboard. Hope to see you Capt Bob
