Default Gambler Epic Tuna Trip

Just returned from our 24 hour Sat.-Sun. tuna trip. Left the dock at 6PM and arrived at the Hudson at 11.30. Set the hook and first fish on in ten minutes. Constant action thru the night with 3-4 fish on all night. Most of the fish were on butterfish and jigs. By 6 AM we were in CR mode. Total boat limit of yellow fin with some birds mixed in. Fish were in the 40-50 pound range. Pool fish was 65 pounds. Everyone went home with 3 yellows and smiles. We will be adding some additional trips in November. Check the web site for details.

Awesome report. Those are the type trips that keep people going back out in hopes of a slammer trip. Good for the people on board. One trip like that makes all the trips that weren't nearly as productive distant memories!

Great job by the Captain and crew of the Gambler for making it happen!
