FRTC SEA BASS TOURNEY 10/23/21

The Forked River Tuna Club will be holding a Sea Bass Tournament on 10/23/21. There will be a $1500 cash prize, winner take all for the largest sea bass caught based on just 20 entrants. The cost is $125 per boat with a maximum of 6 anglers. There are no mail-in or online entries. THOSE INTERESTED MUST ENTER AT THE CAPTAINS MEETING ON 10/22 AT 7 PM AT THE FORKED RIVER TUNA CLUB, Those interested must register at the Captains meeting on 10/22 at 7 PM at the Forked River Tuna Club, 18 Bay Av., Forked River. There will also be $50 and $100 Calcuttas for the heaviest sea bass and $50 and $100 Calcuttas for the heaviest stringer of 5 sea bass. Complete rules are below.
Forked River Tuna Club Sea Bass Tournament Rules
1. Boat Tournament: Maximum 6 anglers per boat at $125 per Boat.
$1500 Cash Prize is based on 20 registered boats and will be adjusted up or down proportionately depending on the number of entrants.
2. Overall heaviest single fish wins. In the event of a tie, the boat that weighs in first will be the winner.
3. Fishing day is October 23rd with a 6 AM start. Bad weather day is October 24th if needed.
4. Boundaries are New Jersey Waters and federal waters directly off of the NJ coast.
5. Captains signups are Friday, October 22nd at the Forked River Tuna Club. Doors open at 7 PM. All info will be posted on the FRTC Tournament

6. All weigh-ins will be at the Forked River Tuna Club Pavilion. Weigh-in times are 3 PM to 5 PM on Saturday, October 23rd. All results will be posted on the FRTC Tournament Facebook Page
7. Awards will be held on October 23rd at 6 PM at the FRTC Clubhouse after the weigh ins.
8. All decisions by the FRTC Tournament Committee are final.
