Default Good Read About Sharks

Been seeing a lot of Shark Week commercials and decided to dust off and re read the book that inspired the move Jaws, Close To Shore.

It's a great read with a ton of interesting research that is a detailed account of the events of 1916 that took place along the Jersey Shore when the Shark ate his way up from coast and wound up in Matawan Creek and the greatest Shark hunt ever... Also lots of interesting backstories about the people and how they vacationed along our shores back at that time.

I have read 12 days of terror. Also about the old attacks. Very good as well.
Along with monster man. The story of frank mundus.

Also a great read. And last but not least. Dark noon. The story of the charter boat pelican which was a horrible tragedy just off of Montauk light.

I second the recommendation for Dark Noon. Great book, but a horrible tragedy.
