Nice!!! How do you fish for them? Bait used? I love to try techniques from other areas on our native fish stock.

Hi/Lo rig just like Jersey ! Bonita, Barracuda, Squid, used as bait. Considering they have grinding teeth for crabs, shrimp and shellfish, I always think its funny that I catch them on cut fish.

Thanks! Our porgies are smaller, and lack grinders. As such, soft baits such as worm, clam and squid work best. Also jigging them on light tackle with an A27 is fun!
