Golden Eagle - STRIPERS & BLUES
Well, the weatherman lied today. It was sunny and warm but it was a whole lot windier and breezier than it was supposed to be this morning and conditions were tough. There was birdlife, fish splashing around and we read the fish and we had a lot of fish but not as much as we should have had. It was GOOD fishing for BLUES and we had a lot of them up to 15lbs. Everything was on jigs.
The good news is that it seems like a new body of fish has moved into another area that we fish in the Fall and I think tomorrow it is time to go look at that spot.
Saturday and Sunday trips depart at 6:30am so get to the boat early. See you in the morning.
The GOLDEN EAGLE sails every day for STRIPERS & BLUES at 7:30 am from Belmar Marina in Belmar, NJ.
