Miss Belmar - JUMBO SEA BASS & MACKEREL

Friday morning, we started out fishing the hills east of Shark River Inlet but the macs and blues did not cooperate. We picked at a few fish here and there but nothing ever materialized. We made a move to the north the sea bass grounds and ended up with excellent fishing for the rest of the day with just about everyone catching their limits of jumbo sea bass! We also caught some ling and once we anchored up we were also able to catch mackerel as well. All in all it turned out to be a great day as everyone went home with a nice bag of fillets.

Today, we had good mackerel fishing for most of the morning, along with a good amount of jumbo sea bass coming over the rail. The conditions were not favorable, however, for those anglers that put the time in today they ended up with a nice catch.

The Miss Belmar Princess is sailing daily for sea bass and blues from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and every afternoon for fluke and sea bass from 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
