Miss Belmar - TUESDAY BLUES, FLUKE, LING & SPANISH MACKEREL!

Yesterday afternoon, we had good fishing for sea bass. There was plenty of action with limits around the boat. We also had ling and a good amount of short fluke! Our pool winner was Rachel Yoon from Palisades Park, NJ.

This morning, it was a slow start with the blues. We tried jigging and chumming in the area where we have been catching them to no avail. We read some fish but they wouldn’t cooperate. By midday, we opted to go bottom fishing and had great action with the fluke, however, the majority of them were shorts. There was good action at times with jumbo sea bass with numerous limits around the boat. We also had a decent showing of ling and a spanish mackerel in the mix. Plain ava 27’s worked great today. Our pool winner was Roeun Chhun from Philadelphia, PA.

The Miss Belmar Princess is sailing daily for sea bass and blues from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and every afternoon for fluke and sea bass from 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
