Caught and released a 16 lb snapper with corn bait on a #8 gold hook and 4 lb test line in a park lake this evening. Saw two deer in a field while walking back to my car. Took a pic of Rudolph while he was flying.

Only caught 4 small carp and 3 feral goldfish on corn this year in a park lake where I caught 7 turtles including 6 snappers. Didn’t make any corn meal bait yet. Using corn bait is a lot easier than making my corn meal bait but I catch a lot more carp on corn meal.
