4/23 tog
Went togging today. Started in 45' nothing. Move out to 60' and drop and reel with fresh clams. But no keepers. Stayed there for awhile hoping the big ones would start to bite but they never did. Went through half my bait of 50 clams without a keeper. Moved out to 75'and ended up there with 3 keepers. Drop and reel most of the day. Had a couple nice seabass to that where released. Nice day on the water but looks like crap for the next few days. Hope to get out again before the season closes

Re: 4/23 tog
At least you got out... We've been using crabs between 40 and 50 feet and doing OK... They're smacking the hell out of the jigs as soon as it gets down as long as you're in the right place. Our spot had a lull for a hour so we tried anther spot and it was the dead sea... Went back to the original spot and started to bail them..
Nothing big the last few trips.. A roaster here and there, some keepers and a lot of shorts. Jigs are definitely working better than rigs, at least for us..
