The bonus striped bass program is over for 2019. If you didn't tag out for this past season, you'll have to reapply and wait until next year when the tags come out again. It doesn't mean to stop fishing, it just means don't take any slot fish until next time.
Effective 12:00 AM, Wednesday, January 1, 2020, the 2019 Striped Bass Bonus Program will close for individuals and for party/charter boats. All permits issued in 2019 are not valid in 2020. To ensure eligibility for 2020, please remember:

Applications for the 2020 SBBP are currently not being accepted. The NJ Marine Fisheries Council will make decisions early in 2020 regarding the future of the 2020 SBBP. The Division will provide information regarding 2020 applications for individual anglers and party/charter boat owners once a decision is announced.
