Bill Howarth
Saddened to hear our fishing community lost a great one, Bill Howarth from Leonardo. Bill was a long time slip holder at Leonardo State Marina and had a passion for Tuna fishing. Spent many an afternoon sharing a few adult beverages with him telling stories of the deep.
In addition to being a devoted father and husband Bill was a great guy and would do anything for you. Just mention something in passing you needed and Bill would disappear and reappear with whatever fishing or boating item you mentioned as he had triplicates of everything in his garage. My sincere condolences to his wife Patty and his sons all of which he passed on his passion for fishing. Rest In Peace Bill and thoughts and prayers to Patty and sons. Won’t be the same around the marina without you brother...

Re: Bill Howarth
Devastating news. Bill was a great man who served our country, father, grandfather and husband. Fished along side of Bill and his son countless times. Rest in piece Bill. My deepest condolences to his family.

Re: Bill Howarth
Gerry I didn't know Bill Howarth but from yours and others description he sounded like a solid citizen, one we could certainly use more of in today's cynical world. Sorry for the loss of a dear friend and condolences to his family and I'm sure many friends. RIP.

Re: Bill Howarth
Bill was a great man. I am very good friends with 3 of his sons. Spent many weekends sleeping on his couch to fish all weekend, took me in like a son. He will be missed. Rest in peace Mr Howarth.

Re: Bill Howarth
Sorry for your loss Gerry. He sounded like a great guy. A lot of the old school anglers are slowly but surely making their way to the great fishing grounds in the sky. They will be surely missed. May he RIP.
