Blue Cats with Cap’n Catfishonthelake! 8/10

Pulled an all nighter Friday into Saturday to go on a road trip with my buddy Mark. We departed at 1 Am in the morning and were in the water by 6 or so. We found the marks we were looking for and hit the spot lock. Took some time to get the fish to commit due to a slow bite. Finally landed my first Blue about 90 minutes into the trip. Cool looking Catfish but man are they slimy! There slime coat is very similar to an eels. Lol, blehhh! Bite stayed slow but managed to put 3 more Blue Dogs to 20 lbs. in the net thanks to Cap’n Catfishonthelake! He was determined to get on the meat and did everything in his power to get fish in the boat. What a trip! What a fishery!!!??? Man I was exhausted Saturday night but it was all worth it. Mark contacted a local guide during our trip to see what was going on with the bite, he said he had only landed 3 Blues the night prior to our arrival. Bite was off but at least we did a little better than that guy, HEHEHE! We’ll be back Mr. Blue Cat! And we’ll have more tricks up our sleeves to get you to eat. I’m ready when you are Mark! Let’s gem em’! TIGHT LINEZ!!!
