Hi All,
Wondering if anyone has a rec for a charter down in Playa del Carmen? Will be down there next weekend and looking for a morning or afternoon charter. Thanks in advance for any advice! |

I highly recommend Roberto Navarro. Everytime I'm in PRC I'm sure to book a jigging trip with him. You will go home with sore arms for sure. He is not your typical trolling charter boat ride like most of the tourist trap boats down there.

You will most certainly need to fish from a boat with the continuing seaweed problems all along the Mexico Caribbean coast. Google seaweed in Playa ..... for the latest.
Good to know if you are planning on swimming or beach bumming it.

like Wilson said, have relatives there this week July 20-27 2019, the beaches are loaded with seaweed, some have some one day, but next day it all returns. This will certainly shut down the troll!
