The day got off to a good start with some nice keepers. But around 9am the wind picked up and we were drifting pretty fast. So I made the decision to head up north. We ended up with some nice keepers and quite a bit of short life. It was the right decision for us, the drift was just to fast off the beach. Several guys had limits and the pool fish was right around 5 lbs. there is a chance of some light showers early in the morning, but the wind should be a light westerly, so conditions look great. 6am departure.
