Big Jamaica Offshore Report
Special Offshore Wreck Trips 2019 This Saturday - Jumbo Porgies, Cod, Pollock Sails 2AM The Big Jamaica will be making special offshore wreck trips every Saturday leaving 2 a.m. Be Will be fishing for jumbo PORGIES, Cod, and Pollock. The main body of porgies moved into our area this week. Fishing should be good on upcoming trips. We also have several trips scheduled to fish the Block Island area, and North East cod wrecks, sailing 8PM Saturday nights in January and February. We just finished up our offshore sea bass season with limit catches on both trips. We did not catch porgies because we were targeting big sea bass since the season will be prematurely closed again this year. The pool winners were: George Hanakis from Perth Amboy NJ with a 10lb cod. Mike Macetta from Stroudsburg Pa with a 21lb Pollock. Our schedule for the upcoming year should be up by the end of the month. For information and reservations call 732-528-5014.
