Default Captain cal 2 blackfish

Hey guys. What a beautiful day today! December or May 27th. Could hardly tell the difference. We had a great time today with good action all around the boat. Made only three drops today and caught them pretty good on all of them. The usual count. Guys with 5+, guys with 3+4, and some hold outs. All in all it was a good day for most. Capt Howard took the pool today with a nice 5+ Tog. I'll tell you it was good enough for Capt. Dave to box 4. If you know him this is unthinkable! LOL. We are not saiing tomorrow due to the crappy weather forecast. We sail everyday from 7 30 AM to 3 30 PM. We will be sailing regular schedule on New Years Eve and New Years Day. Hope to see you soon.

Agree - beautiful day on the water. This was my first tog trip and heard they were difficult to hook. So true. Stood right next one of the guys in the photos who had 4 keepers -- literally shoulder-to-shoulder with him. Our baits couldn't have been far apart. He was bailing the tog (relatively speaking) and I only caught one - - and it wasn't even a keeper! We were using pretty much the same bait, similar terminal tackle, and even similar technique. But for the life of me, I couldn't get the hang of detecting the bites and setting the hook. Most of the time, just retrieved an empty hook. My hats off to the tog sharpies on the boat!
