Todays Mahi trip

It was great to get out today because finally the sun was shining and leaving the Inlet it looked calm. But it wasn't there was a pretty good wind and the tide was against the wind. So once we arrived on the Pots it was hard to stay on them. But as the day pasted we caught 12 or more Mahi but they were all small. After a couple of hours of fishing for Mahi, my crew got tired of it so I asked if they wanted to go Ling fishing? I had a couple of spots in the Mud Hole I thought we would slam them. But we didin't we caught everything else. Mackerel. Blue Fish Porgies Sea Bass and even a 24 inch Weak fish. We were shocked. Haven't seem them out there ever. We bottomed fished for the last couple of hours and had plenty of action. I was the captain and today I had no mate so I didn't have an opportunity to take pictures and I thought I would when we got back. But as I was gassing up they cleaned all the fish so you are going to have to take my word for it. Or we can have a FBI investigation it seems like that is the right thing to do. Captain Joe
