We finally resumed fishing today after a stretch of nasty weather the past week. We headed out north east of Shark River Inlet and fished over the hills and rubble. We had plenty of readings at times and saw some fish on the surface, but we were only able to pick away at the blues- they just didn’t want to cooperate! A few drifts were better than others, and we did catch some blues about 3-6 lbs. each, a little bigger than what we were catching before. Overall, it was an average day of fishing. We didn’t catch as many as we would have liked, but we certainly didn’t go home empty handed! Andy from Jersey City won today's pool with a 5 1/2 lb. bluefish. Sailing daily for Stripers & Blues from 7:30 A.M. – 2:30 P.M. The Miss Belmar Princess is the largest, fastest and cleanest fishing boat in Belmar. With Miss Belmar’s 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day, and we guarantee it. No other boat comes close. Try us and you’ll see why! Today's pool winner, Andy from Jersey City. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
