Friday - AM and PM Limits of Striped bass with many releases + Blues
Great striped bass fishing continues on NYC Sportfishing.
Friday we had two family trips. In the AM we had Ed and his two boys along with his wife. We had a slow start so we went looking for some action and found lots of bait and small blues which we jigged. Then we went back to find some bigger fish and connected with some really nice bass and bigger blues on bait catching an easy limit of nice bass up to 38" and releasing a bunch more. In the PM we again started out jigging some nice bass and blues before switching over to bait to target some bigger fish which we found ready and willing to cooperate. Kip, his two daughters, son and his wife went to work on the bass all afternoon catching nice fish in the mid 30" class. Kip and the family did not want to keep any fish so we released aprox 18 striped bass and a few blues. The fishing remains excellent call today book your next striped bass trip.
