Never knew that Sea Robins make such great bait for crabs. Filled the trap and the crabs were swarming in there. Bait stays much longer then bunker which is a plus.

I always use seabass, fluke, ling and robin carcasses. Why pay for crab bait.

How did you use them? Whole, cut up?

Put the whole sea robin in, doesn't matter size, small to large, they all work
trap was loaded again today and still have bait holding up
