Smile Miss Belmar - LOTS OF SEA BASS AND A FEW FLUKE

July 19th, 2018

Yesterday afternoon was beautiful all through the evening. We fished the same area that has been producing lots of action with the sea bass and once again they cooperated! Just about everyone limited out with sea bass with some ling sprinkled around the boat. The ride home was truly spectacular, with hundreds of porpoises swimming all around the boat! Everyone had a great evening and went home happy with some fish for dinner!

This morning started out a little breezy, we tried drifting to fish for some sea bass but it was not easy. We decided to anchor up and then it was only about a half hour before the wind died down and we were able to catch some nice drifts which produced a whole lot of sea bass! We had excellent fishing all day and everyone reached their limit of keepers, with lots that were thrown back, as well. We caught one drift to fish for some fluke to finish off the day, we caught a few nice keepers and about a dozen or so shorts that were thrown back. It was a beautiful day over all with lots of action!

Sailing daily for Stripers & Blues from 7:30 A.M. – 2:30 P.M. and every afternoon for Fluke & Sea Bass from 4:30 P.M. – 8:30 P.M. Join us as we bottom fish and mammal watch and then catch the most stunning sunset on the ride home. Bring your friends, family and children. This trip is fun for all ages and a must for everyone!

The Miss Belmar Princess is the largest, fastest and cleanest fishing boat in Belmar. With Miss Belmar’s 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day, and we guarantee it. No other boat comes close. Try us and you’ll see why!
