Yesterday afternoon, we anchored up east of Shark River Inlet on some mussel beds. Fishing was decent even with the poor conditions. Many people caught their limits of sea bass along with some ling. There are still a lot of nice size fish in the area so when the wind backs off a bit we would expect the fishing to pick back up again!

This morning, we fished northeast of Shark River Inlet and continued bottom fishing. We drifted on the rocky bottom and mussel beds. It was excellent fishing with all the sea bass you wanted! Mid day, we ran into the beach for some fluking. We had action with both shorts and keeper fluke mixed in. Overall, it was a great day of angling today!
