![]() Headed out of the MCM inlet this morning to a steady 20-25 kt NW wind and white caps everywhere. We decided to crawl across Raritan Bay to the leeward side of Staten Island to fish some much calmer waters. The move paid off with over 30 very nice sized fluke caught and 3 NY keepers kept. Spearing was the ticket today with only one first caught on a jig. The bay became dead calm by afternoon and did some power drifting closer to home with some more good results. The Fluke seem to be scattered all over the bay in decent numbers. Hopefully it will be a great season! Tight lines!

![]() If you were out in that early wind today you earned your catch, enjoy! We were out front and the bottom my boat got a sunburn since it was out of the water half the time with the big breakers.

![]() It was pretty rough out there midday (large waves) and my hull spent a lot of time out of the water.
